Apart from a compact design, the GPS bike computer stands out for a 2.6” touchscreen colour display allowing you to plan tours and search for POIs without having to use the Garmin Connect web platform or the Garmin Connect Mobile App on your smartphone. This provides a perfect view of the route profile and other important ride data shown in the customisable data fields. The silicone case keeps your device safely inside the mount while protecting it from impacts and shocks. An ANT+ remote control allows for comfortable handling and makes sure you don’t have to take your hands off the bar. The three buttons of the control unit allow you to mark laps or scroll through the pages.

An included sensor provides the robust Edge 830 with precise speed data. It provides current values not only for immediate information, but also as a basis for additional analyses for training planning or sharing in a community. A high-performance processor makes for faster route calculation, map display and response, while the battery capacity allows for 20 hours of activity in GPS mode. In battery saver mode, you can ride for up to 40 hours across the country without recharging. The reliable GPS navigation throughout Europe with clear turn-by-turn alerts is based on the pre-installed Garmin cycling map, incl. Popularity routing and integrated Trailforks contents for mountain bikers. Handling and menu navigation via touchscreen, side buttons or remote control are as intuitive as usual.
