Pertex Quantum uses extremely fine yarns to produce very light, yet extremely robust and durable fabrics. Their softness allows for down insulation as well as synthetic insulation.

S.CAFÉ:
To make further progress on the subject of sustainability, Schöffel uses the environmentally friendly technology S.CAFÉ: a technical fibre composite made of polyester fibres. Coffee oil is extracted from the waste product coffee grounds, which are produced from coffee beans during conventional coffee brewing. This is then mixed with a granulate, which is basically the spinneret liquid. This gives the polyester improved properties, such as optimised odour neutralisation, faster drying and a natural antibacterial effect. The S.CAFÉ yarn is then created from the spinneret liquid.
This means that the constantly renewable raw material as a textile component meets the high quality requirements in a natural way.
