To guarantee improved contact with chainring teeth, Shimano has developed the XTR CN-M9100 HG+ chain for 12-speed chainrings. The extended, slim inner link plate connects seamlessly with new chainring tooth shapes, reducing noise and vibrations. Thus, the chain is centrally guided over chainrings and sprockets, resulting in less friction and optimized performance. Chrome and SIL-TEC coatings further improve gliding properties and durability.
