Suunto 9 Peak Pro Titanium Multisport GPS Watch

High tech on the inside, minimalism on the outside – this is what the addition of “Peak” means for the Finnish sports watch specialist Suunto. What started with the 9 Peak, Suunto has continued with the 9 Peak Pro Titanium. Sporty and technically a heavyweight at the highest level, the slim GPS multisport watch looks more like a designer piece on the outside, which can also impress in everyday life with its compact form and typical Nordic aesthetics.

But this latest release from the developmentally-minded Finns is anything but ordinary. The Suunto 9 Peak Pro Titanium is designed for the toughest outdoor adventures and demanding training and competition use. Certified according to military standards and equipped with a powerful battery that even outperforms the runtimes of the 9 Peak by an extra 50 percent. In figures, this means 37 hours of training in the best GPS mode, and even up to 200 hours in Tour mode. If used daily, the 9 Peak Pro only needs to be plugged in again after 21 days – and is fully charged again in one hour thanks to the quick-charge function.

The sensor technology and software have also been further optimised. In addition to optical heart rate and blood oxygen measurement, the Suunto 9 Peak Pro Titanium now also allows running performance measurement without an additional Stryd POD. The barometric altimeter can now also be used for snorkelling and shows you diving depths of up to 10 metres. And instead of the just two GPS systems, you can use four GPS systems for your tours with the Peak Pro. The improved user interface guides you quickly and intuitively through all settings and now also supports configurable daily widgets.

All the benefits of the Suunto 9 Peak are of course also found in the Peak Pro, including the sensor-controlled backlight, automatic firmware updates and downloadable Suunto Plus apps such as the virtual Ghost Runner. Decide for yourself whether you prefer to operate your Suunto 9 in everyday life via the touch display or during exercise via the 3-button control. Over 80 configurable sport profiles and features such as interval training, recovery advisor, VO2max measurement and more will help you run, swim, cycle and countless other activities.

The titanium bezel and push buttons not only reduce the weight of the watch, but together with the sapphire crystal make it even more scratch-resistant and also have a hypoallergenic effect. WITH TURN-BY-TURN-NAVIGATION, POWERED BY KOMOOT
Suunto provides you with regular software updates to make your smart watch even better. That’s why you can now connect Suunto 9 Peak Pro to your Komoot account, download routes to your watch, and let the turn-by-turn directions guide you safely to your destination. All outdoor activities you record with your Suunto 9 Peak Pro are automatically synced with the Suunto App and Komoot, and as a Suunto user, two map regions in Komoot are included in your Suunto value pack.
Of course, you can also import existing tracks or create routes with turn-by-turn directions directly in the Suunto app. You can use the sport-specific heat maps and road conditions to plan the best routes. It is also possible to save POIs directly from the watch. This way you can set relevant points on the way and navigate back to them at any time.

BATTERY EMPTY? NOT WITH THE SUUNTO 9 PEAK PRO
With the four pre-defined battery modes – Performance, Endurance, Ultra, and Tour – you can use GPS tracking for 37 to 200 hours. When you start to log an activity, the display shows approximately how long the battery will last in the current mode. If it won’t last long enough, you can change the mode at anytime.
The Suunto 9 Peak Pro watch will indicate when it needs to be charged, using a smart feature based on your activity history, so that you can fully charge it before the next trip. The watch recognizes when the charge is too low during training and automatically recommends switching to a different battery mode.
